Current Update

Issue 1 — Spring 2026
Marble Falls & Highland Lakes Region

Spring activity around Marble Falls and the surrounding Highland Lakes communities is beginning to increase as warmer weather approaches.

As lake activity begins to pick up, residents and visitors are returning to the water for boating, fishing, and time along the shoreline. Lake Marble Falls continues to be maintained near its normal operating level, supporting recreation and waterfront activity across the area.

Water conditions across the Highland Lakes are monitored by the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA), which tracks rainfall, inflows, and lake elevations across the Colorado River basin.

Seasonal Activity Around the Lake

Spring traditionally marks the beginning of the busiest season for the Highland Lakes region. As temperatures rise and daylight increases, activity around local parks, marinas, and waterfront areas begins to increase.

With Easter approaching and spring travel beginning, visitors can expect more boating activity across the Highland Lakes chain.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to follow boating safety guidelines and remain aware of changing weather and water conditions.
