Summer activity around Marble Falls and the surrounding Highland Lakes communities is increasing as warmer temperatures settle in and the season reaches its peak.
As lake activity continues to grow, residents and visitors are spending more time on the water enjoying boating, fishing, swimming, and gatherings along the shoreline. Lake Marble Falls remains near its normal operating level, supporting recreation and waterfront activity throughout the area during the busy summer months.
Water conditions across the Highland Lakes are monitored by the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA), which tracks rainfall, inflows, and lake elevations across the Colorado River basin.

LCRA Exploring Future Reservoir
The Lower Colorado River Authority has begun a feasibility study to explore the possibility of a new reservoir near the City of Eagle Lake. The study is intended to evaluate long-term water supply needs as population and water demand continue to grow across Central Texas.
